viewed The Departed and The Return. Both are good for different reasons.
The Departed was well-done. Fast-paced with a bad ending. The sequel might explain more. Jack Nicholson should have been nominated, instead of Mark Wahlberg for Oscar's Best Supporting Actor. And Leonardo DiCaprio is no hottie.
The Return is a simple, elegant thriller. Stupid people looking for cheap thrills do not need apply. A simple love story with a supernatural twist. Slow-paced with an excellent ending. The cinematography is effective and Sarah Michelle Gellar delivered! And I loved her beautiful chocolatey hair!

alarm clocks are evil. i swear that they can ruin your lives in an instant. not gonna go into details, but you should have five alarm clocks set up at the same time.
home on friday. can't wait to get over with the whole thing with Christmas. Chicago for NYE with Geo, Vinny, and of course, my Mary Kate, Ryan = major fabulousness!
i heart dysfunctional family films and i heart Little Miss Sunshine so much. it's a hilarious and heartfelt film with winning performances of Toni Collette, Alan Arkin, and Abigail Bresil. i highly recommend it. very highly.
lastly, but not least...it's a birthday today for a special asshole. *gives a birthday kiss to Maleh* and, yet, you're getting older and older. :-D

Last night, I saw a DVD of The Devil Wears Prada from Blockbuster in my apartment. I smiled. I went to see this fantastic film in the theatres last June and immediately loved it in the first few minutes.
Today, Meryl Streep got the nomination from Golden Globes Awards for Best Actress for her sensational performance as Miranda Priestly and I support her all the way. I would even be so angry if she does not get an Oscar nomination. She richly deserves it. Anne Hathaway was immensely likable and did a great job against a powerhouse that is Streep. Stanley Tucci was hilarious as a 'mother figure'. and I also enjoyed Emily Blunt as the bitchy assistant.
Great cast, great dialogue, great clothes and great payoffs. :) I STRONGLY recommend all of you to see the film as it is one of my favorites. Definitely one of the gay classics.

ryan informed me the most ridiculous news in a long time.
people are killing each other over PS3. Walmart is selling it from $600 to $800. Ebay is selling it for eight thousand dollars. and Sony is recalling some of them, due to technical difficulties.
oh my god. this is SO pathetic. and those people are SO stupid.
this saddens me.

Halloween? It was a blast, dressing up like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen with Ryan. Even though I did not look like Ashley, I got many compliments and people automically thought I was Paris Hilton. I guess they associated to my last year's costume, but that's okay. I sure had a lot of fun, portraying the Olsens. Bunch of fags went to Tilt. It was also a Hollywood-ish party. Nathan dressed up as Lindsay Lohan. Jacob as Eva Longoria in the 70's. Jordan as Angelina Jolie-Pitt/Tomb Raider. Brian as Tiffany from Bride of Chucky. i could see Jesse as one of those Revenge of the Nerds, which a remake is being made. and Listman as one of those guys from Gladiator. Matt and Erica were so cute as Batgirl and Robin, girl-version. After Tilt, we continued at Brian's party where the jungle juice was provided. Man, it fucked me up. it was a loooooong and hilarious night. <3 to you all.
The best moment: the moment where we, the twins, dressed up and saw each other and giggled.
Most Hollywood moment: The Olsen twins and Lindsay Lohan got in a crossfire with a gay couple being kicked out...two security guards had to use physical with the couple, fighting. We were gossiping in the lobby and all of the sudden, we got pushed out of the front door because it was like a big ball of fire. They all were rolling and the couple literally fought with the security guards and the couple ended up pinned to the ground outside, while three of us went outside and gasped in horror and watched the whole thing and the police cars rushed to the scene. All of us looked like hookers! i just laughed when the cops looked at us. THAT was a classic Hollywood moment.
Disappointment: Geo and Mikey could not be with us. *sniffs*

I don't think I was ever THAT shocked before. this is injustice! the winner of project runway is retarded. we all saw the collections and it is clear that uli was the best of all. she was flawless in execution of those dresses. i'll admit that i liked jeffrey's last dress, which is green and silver stripes because those colors are my favorite and it is a beautiful dress. i also enjoyed laura's collection and it was very elegant, especially with the last dress with the chartreuse belt. sososo lovely. michael, i'm disappointed into you.
but seriously, the finale of project runway is so fucked up. jeffrey? no! uli, yes!
it does not make any sense.

a brief update from aarie.
halloween is coming very soon. simply my favorite holiday. it'll be a shopping hardcore this weekend.
the whole gallaudet situation: i don't have opinions for it, but hope everybody's okay.
watch out for sarah michelle gellar because more upcoming media on her. yes! she's on the November cover of Marie Claire and it is GORGEOUS!
not sure about the Thanksgiving break, but i know i'm not gonna be home. two weeks is not gonna help. blah.
and, yes, i'm doing splendidly, aside school stresses. :)

despite the misty weather, i'm in a rather chipper mood.
tomorrow is my one-year anniversary of dating jacobby. i plan to surprise him with the five seasons of the golden girls dvds and a cheesecake. get it? ;)
school is not so bad. still being a paris hilton.
useless sarah michelle gellar news: on Fashion Week in NYC, she stole several black Chanel nail polish that is currently sold-out in the United States. a really rare item in the industry. she's obsessed with it and she's so fabulous.
and i'm still fat. still chipper, but fat! ;)

so, wearing black nail polish is a no-no? really, my nails are painted black with a coat of clear glitters and that was for the Black Party two days ago. I sometimes use nail polish for special events and party purposes. I left them on because I didn't have time to remove them. Yesterday, I went to Taco Bell with Ryan for a quick snack. I sat down and I saw a family (apparently uneducated and close-minded) kept looking at me and probably made comments because you could tell by a facial expression. i rolled my eyes. hard. they could NOT take their eyes away from me. is it because of how girly I am or the nail polish that is considered appropriate for females only? what-fucking-ever. Today, in classes and around on the campus, I closely observed people and they kept looking at my nails. i was like, okay, ever heard of Goths? why can't a gay, feminine guy wear black nail polish? i had an urge to flip the finger with the color of black on it for a cool effect. i don't give a fuck what they think and I'll continue wearing different nail polishes for a day or two after parties throughout the year, just to amuse those cool people and to disgust those retarded people.
but of course, some girls I never met liked what they saw AND i got compliments from those loved ones. thank you!
this society is pathetic and that's an understatement. big time.

i have several things i wanted to say.
-summer of 2006 = fabulous stuff! no complaints there. looking forward to see everybody!
-poor Katie Holmes. she IS brainwashed and I want her to go back to her radiant, independent girl that we all knew from Dawson's Creek. but I hope that after being associated with Tom Cruise, she would benefit from that. I'll say that they'll last two years. looking forward to that, too.
-ok, get this: i read an article from a gay magazine (the advocate, i think?) and i was completely shocked. the christian fundamentalists are "partly" blaming gay people for the Hurricane Katrina. yes, Hurricane Katrina. because of the gay community down there in Louisiana or something. i laughed. i simply laughed. if I ever see them, i want to approach and laugh at them. fucking retards.
